ever ending is a short work created for the Tasdance Artery season, for Ten Days on the Island 2011. Evolving from the initial idea of 'west' the work is inspired by the sunset, and connects with the concept of a sunset as an ending. Ultimately, ever ending explores the idea that life is a series of endings that are simultaneous reminders of life and living.
"…is full of the weight and restriction of longing and the ache of loss: the tension and pressures that seem to accompany any form of desire. The dancers are deeply engaged and grounded in this strong choreography where there is a tethering of gravity and rhythm, an unavoidable and reassuring dependence on the floor beneath them, and an aerobic connection to the moment and to each other."
